Results of the International conference «Trends of Modern Engineering Education under Globalization and Digitalization»

International conference «Trends of Modern Engineering Education under Globalization and Digitalization» was held in Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don) on March 12-13, 2019. Organizers:

• Don State Technical University (DSTU)
• Association for Engineering Education of Russia (AEER)

The conference had two formats of attendance: personal with more than 100 participants from 30 Russian HEIs and educational organizations and online with more than 50 participants from 15 HEIs.

The program included more than 45 reports dedicated to global challenges in engineering education, use of digital technologies and quality assurance tools for training of engineers.

The expert seminar «Digitalization of engineering education: challenges, assessment of state» was held on the second working day of the conference in Industrial co-working «Garage» and resulted in summarized recommendations on improvement and development of digitalization in Russian engineering education. The seminar gathered 26 participants; most of them were representatives of Don State Technical University.
