International seminar «Development of Engineering Professionals in APEC Economies», 22-23 May, 2012, Kazan, Russia

The Seminar is organized by the Monitoring Committee of APEC Engineers (Russia), the Association for Engineering Education of Russia and National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the APEC International Secretariat.

The Seminar aims at the exchange of experience among participating countries of the APEC Engineers Register in the field of regulations of engineering activity, development of professional mobility of engineers, and improvement of engineering education.

The invited speakers are:

• Prof. Basil Wakelin, Chair of International Engineering Alliance, New Zealand,
• Prof. Za-Chien Moh, Chair of APEC Engineer Coordinating Committee, Taiwan,
• Prof. See Sew Gue, ex-Chair of APEC Engineer Coordinating Committee, Malaysia,
• Mr. Federico A. Monsada, President of Philippine Technological Council,
• Mr. Michael Bevan, Associate Director of Engineers Australia,
• Mr. Itsuo Ohnaka, Head of the of the Monitoring Committee of APEC Engineers, Japan.

Also, the Seminar will be attended by representatives of the Government and large enterprises in Russia.
