On February 18, 2012 the meeting of the Board of the RF Ministry of Education and Science was held

AEER President Y.P. Pokholkov participated in the meeting and on behalf of the AEER Administrative Board proposed in 2012 to publish a special of the Journal "Engineering Education" on "Approaches to the development of the doctrine of engineering education of Russia in the new industrialization" (July 2012) and, with the participation of the AEER and TPU as organizers, to hold the all-Russian scientific-practical conference dedicated to discussion of approaches to the development of the national doctrine of engineering education in Russia in the new industrialization (December 2012). Also, the Association of Technical Universities and MSTU will be among the organizers of this conference as offered by academic I.B. Fedorov, MSTU President, President of the Association of Technical Universities.
