The Times Higher Education published a rating of universities with the lowest ratio of students to academic staff. The published part of the rating includes 100 universities

This rating included 11 Russian universities, 7 of which are the participants of Russian Project 5-100: National Research Novosibirsk State University (42 rank), Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University (49), National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (67), National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University (84), Far Eastern Federal University (88), National Research Tomsk State University (88), National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (99).

The top-10 rankings included 6 universities from Japan, 3 from the United States, 1 from Austria. In total, this rating included 34 universities from Japan and 25 universities from the United States.
