On March 24, 2017 the 12th international exhibition-conference in the field of higher education APAIE, was held in Chinese Taipei

This year it was organized by five Taipei universities, led by the National University of Sun Yat-sen. At this largest educational forum in the Asia-Pacific region, Russian universities participating in Project 5-100 were exhibited at the joint stand of the Project, university staff conducted a series of negotiations with representatives of foreign universities in order to strengthen cooperation and establish new business contacts.

The main themes of the event were trends and strategies of globalization, international research cooperation, student mobility, benchmarking and evaluation of higher education, digital media innovations in higher education. The conference was attended by representatives of the professional community from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United States, Spain, Belgium and other countries. This year the exhibition was attended by about 1500 people.

The APAIE exhibition and conference is the key professional event in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the three largest educational forums in the world along with NAFSA (USA) and EAIE (Europe).
