International Seminar "Entrepreneurship in Engineering"

We inform you that the seminar "Entrepreneurship in Engineering" for technical reasons postponed to next year. About AEER upcoming events and changes you will be informed additionally.

Organizers: Russian Association for Engineering Education, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Altai State Technical University

The Seminar is aimed at discussing analyzing academic approach and sharing the good Russian and European practices in the field of training advanced engineers. Nowadays technical universities around the globe need to meet modern industry challenges to train engineers with leading skills and ability to combine technical, economic and other knowledge to create competitive advantages and to develop business. The meeting includes a formal program and interactive workshops, as well as many opportunities for informal discussions with colleagues.

Program Schedule

Format of the meeting

The seminar will be held in the form of a business game, during which participants will analyze different aspects on modernization and improvement of engineering business and education in Russia and Europe, offer conceptual and practical approaches to solve actual problems. As a result final recommendations will be developed to address Academia and Business.

Working languages of the Seminar: Russian and English (simultaneous translation is provided).
