On March 19-20, 2018 in Brussels (Belgium), the next meeting of the Administrative Council and the General Assembly of ENAEE was held.

At the meeting, intermediate results were summarized and statistics on the awarding the EUR-ACE® label among authorized ENAEE member agencies were presented. In total, ENAEE issues about 450 certificates of compliance with the criteria of the EUR-ACE® standard per year, AEER takes the fourth place in the number of issued certificates after the agencies ASIIN, CTI (including accreditations in the French-speaking part of Belgium and Switzerland) and MUDEK.

Within the framework of the meeting, the reports on the CALOHEE project (Measuring and Comparing Achievement of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education in Europe, a link to the project website https://www.calohee.eu/) were also considered and the project on the accreditation of engineering programs in the Mediterranean region was launched MEDACCR (Assurance de la qualité en ligne et accréditation EUR-ACE des programs d'ingénierie dans la région méditerranéenne).

The main event on the agenda of the General Assembly was the election of a new ENAEE president (the term of office of current President Bernard Remo ends by the end of the year). Among the two candidates nominated, none gained an absolute majority of votes, and therefore they decided to postpone the elections to the next meeting.

The University of Florence has applied for exclusion from ENAEE members (it was the only university member of the organization).

The next meeting of the Administrative Council will take place in Dublin in June, and the General Assembly on November 22 in Lisbon.
