On February 18, 2014 the first online meeting of the Administrative Board of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia was held

At the meeting Prof. V.G. Martynov, Rector of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas was elected the AEER Vice-President.

The Administrative Board decided on establishment of the AEER Branch Office for Fuel and Energy Complex (FEC) and the Moscow Regional Office (for FEC) of the AEER Accreditation Centre at Gubkin University and appointed their heads.

Also the issues of the preparation progress of the AEER application to enter the EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education) and of the AEER Accreditation Board work streamlining and results of expert committees reports review were addressed.

Last on the agenda was the question of extending the powers of the AEER Executive Director.
