On 23 September 2013 the Expert Seminar “State of implementation of practice-oriented learning technologies in Russian engineering education” was held

The Seminar was organized within the International Scientific School “Engineering Education for the New Industrialisation” conducted from 23 to 28 September 2013 on the basis of Kazan National Research Technological University together with 42nd IGIP International Symposium on Engineering Pedagogy “Global Challenges in Engineering Education”. The Association for Engineering Education of Russia was one of co-organisers of these events.

It was devoted to the evaluation of the problem situation in Engineering and Engineering Education in general, as well as the level of practice-oriented learning technologies implementation in Russian universities.

The Seminar was attended by more than 50 representatives of universities of Russia and Kazakhstan.
