News26.03.2012 The Congress was held on March 22-23, 2012, in Yakutsk, and gathered by more than 400 delegates and guests. The Congress was attended by President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Egor Afanasievich Borisov. The objective of the Congress was to develop new and effective mechanisms aimed at modernization and innovative development of branches of the economy. AEER President Y.P. Pokholkov was invited to participate in the Congress as an honored guest and spoke on "State of Engineering and Engineering Education in Russia: Problems and Solutions", and also participated in the round table session "Training of Engineers - the Main Resource Mechanism for the Innovation Economy” with the report on “Level of Training of Modern Engineers and Ways of Development of Their Competence in the Process of Training at University". Also during the Congress, in a solemn ceremony, under Decision of the AEER Administrative Board of March 19, 2012, the AEER awards were presented to the most active members of the Regional Department of the Republic of Sakha for active and effective public work on development and improvement of engineering education of Russia: AEER Medals «For Merits in Development of Engineering Education of Russia» to Boris Nikolaevich Zarovnyaev, Professor, Dean of Faculty of Mining, North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov, and Roman Romanovich Kopyrin, Associate Professor of Department of Engineering Graphics, Faculty of Mining, North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov; AEER Certificate of Merit to Ekaterina Petrovna Aprosimova, Associate Professor of Department of Mining Machines, Faculty of Mining, North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov; AEER Letter of Appreciation to Ekaterina Afanasyevna Arkhangelskaya, Associate Professor, Head of Department of Examination, Management and Real Estate Cadastre, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov. |
