President of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia Y.P. Pokholkov participated in the International seminar-session with the representatives of industry and business within the programme "Road Map "Business and Science 2020"

The Seminar was held on February 28-29, 2012, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

The purpose of the seminar is the joint discussion of the programme "Road Map "Business and Science 2020", making suggestions and proposals on implementation of its goals and objectives identified in it jointly with enterprises of Kazakhstan, thus contributing to the development of the programme; organisation of exchange of experience, information, innovative ideas and knowledge on issues of mutual cooperation in the field of innovation, new technologies, production, technology transfer, commercialization, investment attraction.

The Seminar-session was attended by representatives of the USA, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Russia, etc. The business community of the Republic of Kazakhstan was well represented in the meeting.

AEER President Y.P. Pokholkov spoke at the plenary session of the Seminar on "Quality of Engineering Education", held the expert seminar-training for staff of Higher School of Economics and Business of Kazakh National University on "Role of the business community in the development of innovative competence of specialists in the process of their training" and also participated in the joint interview with the representatives of other countries for the "All the World" newspaper.
